At least six people need new places to stay after an early morning fire in Lackawanna County.

The fire started at this apartment complex on River Street in Blakely around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Crews tell Newswatch 16 they were able to get the flames under control and the building was not severely damaged, but some residents were not able to return.

The American Red Cross is helping those displaced by the fire.

The cause has not been determined.
