Scranton police are searching for a man who robbed a business at gunpoint Monday morning.

Investigators say a man wearing a white surgical mask walked into White House Hoagies on Elm Street and handed the clerk a note demanding cash. The man then revealed a black hand gun and pointed it at the clerk.

Police say the clerk handed the money over and the man took off.

Officers believe he may have run into a wooded area on Walnut Street, behind the South Scranton Intermediate School.
