State police in Sullivan County are investigating what they call a "disturbance" at a vocational school.

Three people police say were involved in the incident are locked up: Charell Ackerman, 20, from Philadelphia, 19 year old Shadira Gardner, 19, from Philadelphia and Brianna Rivera, 20, from Reading. All three are charged with assault.

Dozens of state and local officers were called to the Red Rock Job Corps Center near Lopez around 6:30 p.m. Sunday to control the situation.

Troopers shut down part of Route 487 which leads to the center.

Authorities tell us students at the school were involved but could not say what started the incident.

Newswatch 16 talked to a student.

“(I am) kind of nervous, anxious to know what's going on,” said Selena Lopez.  “All that I know right now, is they started it yesterday afternoon possibly and then it traveled into this morning and then about 2:30 is when all the cops started showing up.  They're not letting anybody up there.  That's all I know possibly right now.”

There is no word if anyone was hurt after the incident in Sullivan County.
