Misericordia University Students Face Drug Charges
Four Misericordia University students are facing drug charges.
Police arrested three students and another man early Thursday morning at an apartment on Route 415 in Dallas Township.
Thursday morning Dean Tilton and Donald Squire, both of New York and Casey Weisenback of New Jersey were arrested, accused of selling drugs. A fourth man, Eddie Perry of New York, who is not a student, was also arrested.
Police also found drug paraphernalia, prescription drugs and more than $3,000 in the apartment that was raided Thursday.
A Dallas Township zoning officer also condemned the apartment after the raid because it was unfit habitation.
The arrests follow an arrest last month of a man from Scranton who police said was selling marijuana from his home at Misericordia Townhouses. Police said when Garry Melville was arrested March 16 he had half a pound of marijuana and $500.
