More Charges for Arson Suspects

Two men already behind bars on arson charges are now accused of setting more fires.

State police said Zane Snyder of Milton and Charles Jacobs of Lewisburg are responsible for a barn fire off Route 642  near Lewisburg in January and a truck fire near Lewisburg in February and tried to set fire to a vacant house in March, also near Lewisburg.

The men, who are both volunteer firefighters, have admitted setting six fires in Northumberland, Montour and Union counties.

Snyder and Jacobs are in Montour County jail on $400,000 bail.
