State police in central Pennsylvania are investigating at least three break-ins at churches in Union and Northumberland counties.

Troopers said someone broke into United in Christ Lutheran Church in Kelly Township near West Milton sometime between Sunday and Monday and stole  music equipment worth about $2,500.

Another break-in was reported the same time in neighboring White Deer Township at Sunrise Methodist Church. Nothing was taken.

The third break-in was reported at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Turbot Township near Milton. Troopers said two males were spotted on surveillance video inside the church but nothing was taken.  That break-in happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Troopers are not saying if any of the crimes are connected.

These break-ins come just days after someone broke into the Buffalo Mennonite Church near Lewisburg.  Police said nearly $10,000 worth of musical and electronic equipment was stolen  sometime between April 15 and the 18.
