Person Struck by Vehicle

A person is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Luzerne County.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Plymouth.

Police said a pedestrian was hit, and the driver of the vehicle took off, but was caught a short time later.

The victim was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley. There is no word on the person’s name or condition, or if the driver will face charges.
