A man from Luzerne County will spend up to five years in prison for two separate crimes.
Jesse Geasey of Hanover Township was sentenced Tuesday for assault, trespassing and abuse of a corpse.
Police said Geasey and another man were responsible for six stabbings last May along Coal and Meade streets in Wilkes-Barre.
Geasey was also sentenced for breaking into a mausoleum at the Hollenback Cemetery along North River Street in Wilkes-Barre in 2010. Officers said he took a skull from a casket at that time.
