Ryan Craig scored in the first period for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to give them a 1-0.

Mike Hoffman scored later in the second on a backhanded shot past Brad Thiessen to tie the game at 1-1.

Pat Cannone put Binghamton up 2-1 in the second period on a shot from the slot past Thiessen.

The Senators added a third period goal and won the game 3-1.

In the second period Brian Gibbons hit the ice hard after Ben Blood landed a hard check to the body and the head of Gibbons. The Penguins had a five minute power play where they could not convert a goal. Blood left the game in the second period on a match penalty (check to the head).

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton out shot Binghamton 27-12.
