A man from Luzerne County learned his punishment Monday for the deadly shooting of a teenage girl.
Martin Beamer of Plymouth pleaded guilty in February to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault for the death last May of Samantha Claudio. He was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison for the death.
Beamer and his brother were arguing over Claudio at their home when he grabbed a gun. It fired, hitting and killing Claudio.
