A child playing with a lighter is blamed for starting a fire that killed an infant in Lackawanna County.
The fire happened Saturday morning in a mobile home in Madisonville near Moscow.Eight people were in the home at the time. Seven escaped the flames but they could not save the baby.
Four-month-old Cindylee Williams died from breathing in too much smoke.
State police investigators said nine people lived in the home. Three adults and three children were in the kitchen and living room area of the home. One child was rescued but no one could get to the infant.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday.
