Assistant Baseball Coach Accused of Inappropriate Contact

Prosecutors in Lackawanna County filed charges Thursday afternoon against an assistant baseball coach in the Abington Heights School District accused of having inappropriate contact with a 12-year-old student.

Gavin Cerco, 25, of Clarks Summit was arrested and charged with corruption of minors. Authorities allege Cerco used Facebook to chat with a student and his comments became sexual in nature.
