Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday after a rollover crash in Scranton.
One of the passengers of the flipped vehicle that was taken to the hospital was a five-year-old boy.
Police said Joanne Gacek was driving her Ford Escape in a hurry on South Hyde Park Avenue in Scranton and sped up to go through an intersection when she was hit by a Plymouth Caravan traveling west on Rock Street.
The collision caused Gacek’s vehicle to flip, slide on its side on South Park Avenue, then came to a rest completely rolled over.
Police said Gacek and her five-year-old passenger were taken to Geisinger Hospital to be checked.
