After a deadly tractor trailer crash last month, the Schuylkill County coroner hopes to make what many call a dangerous road a little safer.
The coroner is reaching out to PennDOT to try to get more warning for drivers who travel the route.
People who live along Route 924 in Brandonville said drivers usually speed down the road and are not often familiar with a sharp curve at the bottom of the hill.
After a trucker lost control last month and died at the spot, the coroner wants something done to, as he puts it, keep people out of the morgue.

PennDOT said every day more than 2,000 vehicles travel the route between Shenandoah and Hazleton.
The Schuylkill County coroner wants to see more safety measures after a truck driver from the Allentown area was killed last month.
Police said the man lost control coming around a sharp curve at the bottom of the steep hill.
Neighbor Francis Layton was one of the first people at the scene of that crash. He said drivers often speed down the hill.
"About 50 miles an hour and when they hit that sharp curve they just can't handle it. I mean, there have been plenty of accidents there," said Francis Layton.
There is only one sign alerting drivers about the road ahead. The Schuylkill County coroner said he wants to see even more warning signs to slow traffic down.
"It does warn that there is a steep grade there but it doesn't say what the turn is like at the bottom of the hill and speaking with one of my deputies, he said he has attended there on a number of occasions with truck accidents," said Schuylkill County coroner Dr. David Moylan.
PennDOT said since 2000, there have been more than 20 crashes in that area.
"The more help the better. I'd sign a petition, gladly. Anything they can do to make it safer for everybody, the truck drivers, the cars, people in town, everything," said Maggie Layton.
Some neighbors would like to see a sign like the one PennDOT installed on Gordon Mountain Road, another hill in Schuylkill County that has seen a lot of crashes.
The coroner said anything that would save lives is needed near Brandonville.
"One of my themes of my coronership is keep the people out of the morgue," added Moylan.
PennDOT officials said they have received a request to do a safety review of that stretch of Route 924. That review is expected to be done over the next three to four weeks.
