A man from Wilkes-Barre is locked up, accused of going on a rampage in a grocery story and assaulting a police officer.
It happened Sunday at the Price Chopper store in Edwardsville.
Police said Allan Randall, 45, threw food into a lobster tank, damaged food and threatened store employees, causing more than $200 in damage, before leaving the store.
Officers pulled him over just after he left the parking lot and found his license was suspended and his car wasn’t registered.
At the police station, police said, Randall hit an officer several times with his cane.
Randall is charged with a long list of crimes, including aggravated assault of an officer, theft, recklessly endangering and disorderly conduct.
He is locked up on $25,000 bail.
