A man robbed a Turkey Hill in Wilkes-Barre Monday morning then fled in a stolen vehicle according to police.
Police said the man walked into the convenient store on Hazle Street at 6 a.m. and demanded money. The clerk removed the cash drawer and placed it on the counter.
Officers said the man then grabbed the drawer and left the store leaving the area in a dark-colored Jeep.
It was later found on North Meade Street in Wilkes-Barre with damage to the ignition. Police then learned that the vehicle was stolen from a home on Coal Street.
Police said they do have a suspect. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Wilkes-Barre Police Department.
