Fire Investigation in Luzerne County

A fire inspector is investigating a fire in Luzerne County.

Crews were called to the home in the 300 block of Price Street in Plains Township early Sunday morning.

Firefighters believe the flames started in the garage and spread to the home.

Two people were inside when the fire started. They were awakened by smoke detectors in the home, and got out safely.

There is no word yet what sparked the fire near Wilkes-Barre.
