Vandals are responsible for at least $300,000 in damage at a property owned by Chesapeake Energy in Bradford County, according to state police.

Troopers said someone sliced cuts in a polyethylene liner of a water holding tank sometime over the weekend at a Chesapeake facility near Towanda.

There was no water in the holding tank at the time.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call state police at Towanda at 570-265-2186.
