The most serious charges against a man from Schuylkill County accused of threatening to kill his sister and girlfriend have been withdrawn.
Joseph Fogarty of Shenandoah was arrested last month after police said he threatened to kill the two women with a shotgun.
According to court papers, Fogarty forced the women to drive him to the Wells Fargo Bank in Frackville because he could not find confirmation that his income tax return had been deposited.
Wednesday the victims requested the most serious charges against Fogarty be withdrawn. He now faces only charges of
