Opening statements were heard Tuesday morning in a homicide trial in Luzerne County.
Arthur Stoss of Pittston Township is on trial for the death of Lillian Calabro of Pittston.
Investigators said Stoss killed Calabro last March then dumped her body in the Susquehanna River. Her body was found nearly two weeks later.
