Truck Hits Overpass, Loses Load

A truck lost its load Friday morning after hitting an interstate overpass in Luzerne County.

According to PennDOT, a truck that was headed south on Interstate 81 took the exit for Route 315 south. As it passed under the interstate, the construction equipment it was hauling hit the overpass.

The equipment rolled off the back of the truck.

No one was hurt.

One lane of Route 315 south was blocked until crews could clear the crash.
