Brian Brill improved his overall record this season to (40-0) with a 6-3 over Mike Shermot from Governor Mifflin in the PIAA AAA State Wrestling Championships Friday at the Giant Center in Hershey.

Brill the returning state champion from Central Mountain won his preliminary match Thursday night with a fall in the 3rd period over Charlie Grab from WC Henderson.

The Wildcat senior hopes to be part of Team Pennsylvania in next week's Dapper Dan Classic out in Pittsburgh.

Brill will continue his wrestling career and attend Division I Lehigh in the fall.

Two seasons ago as a sophomore Brill was part of the Central Mountain team that lost to Central Dauphin in the State team dual semifinals by one point.

In the Brill match that afternoon Brain had his opponent on his back for almost 1 minute but didn't get the pin call which would of given Central Mountain a one point win.

Central Dauphin then went onto beat Parkland for the state team dual title.
