Man Accused in Machete Attack Fights Extradition

The man accused of nearly cutting off a teen’s hand in Wilkes-Barre does not want to come back to Pennsylvania willingly.

Juan Borbon was arrested last week in New Jersey.

Police there said he will go to court to try prevent being sent back to Luzerne County where he could face charges in the attack.

The machete attacke happened last monh outside GAR High School in Wilkes-Barre.

Another teen already faces charged that he supplied Borbon with the weapon.
