East Stroudsburg University Men’s Basketball team (20-11) won it’s second-ever PSAC championship over the weekend with a 90-85 win over West Chester.

Tournament MVP Terrance King from East Stroudsburg North high school scored 26 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the game against the Rams.

With their automatic bid to the NCAA Division II tournament the Warriors will face #4 West Liberty (29-2) in West Virginia on Saturday.

East Stroudsburg and West Liberty faced off earlier this season with the Hilltoppers earning a victory 96-92.

This is the 10th season for head coach Jeff Wilson with ESU. Back in 2010 he guided the Warriors to the NCAA tournament.

This is the 3rd time in school history ESU will play in the NCAA tournament. Back in 1990 ESU beat Slippery Rock (ranked #2 in the country) 99-98 in overtime in the first round before losing to Gannon 72-63.
