There is a boil water advisory in effect for TESI Water Customers living in the Beech Mountain Lakes Subdivision of Drums in Lackawanna County.

Due to an issue with a booster pump, boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.

Bring water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before consuming, or use bottled water.  If you have special medical, infant, or elderly concerns or questions, please contact your doctor for advice.

TESI reported the issue to the PA Department of Environmental Protection, and they are monitoring the situation.

Customers will be notified when the issue is resolved.
