Sullivan County vs St. John Neumann Boy’s Playoff Basketball

Sharif Welton put Sullivan County up 17-16 late in the 3rd quarter on a great spin move in the lane.

That spin move would prove to be big down the stretch. Welton did it again late in the 4th to go up 30-29.

Just before that St. John Neumann’s Alize Johnson made a bucket after a foul then converted on the free throw for the 29-28 lead.

In the end Neumann couldn’t connect and Sullivan County sealed the win when Connor Wylie hit Derek Wilkins on a backdoor play.

It was Sullivan County with a 34-30 victory and the District IV “A” title.
