Pedestrian Hit by Car

A woman was rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon after she was hit by a car.

Police in Dupont believe the driver of a car on Main Street turned onto Bear Creek Road where she hit the woman who was crossing the street.

Emergency personnel rushed to the scene and took the injured pedestrian to Geisinger Wyoming Valley.

There is no word on the woman’s condition.
