UGI Penn Natural Gas is reducing rates again.

The company said the average customer will see rates go down about 4.5 percent, or a little more than two dollars a month, starting Thursday.

UGI PNG said the reduction is due lower wholesale natural gas costs and the utility credits the Marcellus shale.

The gas company said it has cut rates 40 percent in four years.
