Boy Killed in Crash

A crash Sunday in Susquehanna County killed a young boy from New York.

State police were reconstructing the scene on Route 267 Monday afternoon.

Investigators said the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. in Choconut Township, near the New York border.

Hospitals and Clinics

Police said Michele Tyner, 28, of Endicott, New York, was driving south on Route 267 and turned left into a gas station when her car was t-boned by an SUV traveling north.

Troopers said 11-year-old Daniel Robert Edsell, of Endicott, New York was in the back seat of the car. He was taken to a hospital in New York where he died.

Tyner and Daniel Edsell, 32, of Endicott, were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the SUV, also a New York resident, was not hurt.
