A couple in the Poconos is locked up after police arrested them while they were allegedly making methamphetamine with their 15-month-old child in the home.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested Brian Eyet and Michelle Casella Sunday night after they found the two operating a suspected methamphetamine lab inside their home.

The couple is also facing child endangerment charges after police said their 15 month old son was inside the home. While they were making the drug.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said the home in a Pocono Country Place in Tobyhanna used to be a fully operational methamphetamine lab operated by Eyet and Casella.

The pair is now in jail facing numerous drug related charges. They are also facing child endangerment charges because their 15-month-old son was living in the home with them.

Police said officers were called to the home to check on the welfare of a child.

While investigating, they found marijuana, methamphetamine and what they said was an active meth lab inside the house.

Police then contacted the state police to clean up the meth lab, which they said was very hazardous. The fire department and ambulance was also called in to help.

The suspected meth lab was busted Sunday night. On Saturday Stroud Area Regional Police arrested Eyet for selling methamphetamine. He was put in jail, but Michelle Casella posted his $10,000 bail.

The 15-month-old son is in protective custody.
