Bones that were discovered Monday in Wilkes-Barre are not human remains, according to the Luzerne County coroner.

The bones were found in a vacant lot on Loomis Street.

Tuesday morning Coroner Bill Lisman said the bones are from pigs and cows. They are about 10 to 15 years old.

There is no word how the bones ended up in the lot.
