Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle

Troopers in Wyoming County are investigating a deadly pedestrian crash.

It happened around 1 a.m. Friday on Route 29 in Noxen Township.

State police report Daniel Ferry, 56, from Latrobe was hit and killed after stepping into traffic.

Police said he was inspecting damage to a truck that hit a deer.

Ferry was declared dead at the scene by the Wyoming County deputy coroner.
