A man from Wyoming County pleaded guilty Friday morning to causing a deadly crash.
Brett Dixon of Nicholson had been accused of driving drunk on Route 11 in April, 2010. Police said Dixon was speeding and could not stop when a sport utility vehicle pulled onto Route 11 in front of him.
The driver of the SUV, Mark Jenkins, also of Nicholson, was killed and two of his passengers were hurt.
The judge said Friday there was no sign that Dixon was under the influence at the time of the crash.
Dixon pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle, simple assault, because two children were in the car with him, and causing or risking a catastrophe.
He faces at least 16 years in prison.
