Scranton Store Hit By Fire

A fire in Lackawanna County is under investigation.

Wood pallets in the back of Gerrity’s supermarket on North Keyser Avenue caught fire around 6:45 p.m. Monday.

A walk-in freezer was damaged when the fire spread to the building.

The store will be open Tuesday.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
