On Saturday Bucknell improved their overall record for the 2011-2012 season to (20-6) with a win over Lafayette. Mike Muscala netted 24 points while Joe Willman pumped in 17. So far the six losses include Syracuse, LaSalle, George Mason, Minnesota, and Vanderbilt.

26 games into their season the Bucknell Men's basketball team continues to grind out wins. It was #20 on Saturday a 90-78 win over Lafayette in impressive style. The Bison's numbers on the stat sheet tell the story-58% from the field-80% from the free throw line and 2 to 1 in rebounding margin.

"The thing with our team is we're very dynamic on any given night. We got players scoring 20 points, and I think that's the strength of our team. For opponents it's really pick your poision-whether they double team Mike (Mike Muscala), either myself, Bryson (Bryson Johnson) or Cameron (Cameron Ayers) can get hot." said Bryan Cohen.

"Offensively on Saturday against Lafayette we we're really efficient. Five guys in double figures-we found the open man and found the hot hand. We did a great job and we want to continue with that." said Dave Paulsen.

Up next for the Bison-Lehigh on Thursday. With another victory that's 13 in a row. Their last loss to Loyola (Maryland) back on December 28th.

"Lehigh is always a tough team to play. They always play real hard against us. Cj McCollum he's a great player. They got other supporting players that are really improved from last year." said Bryson Johnson.

It's only happened one time before a Patriot League team going undefeated in league play. Bucknell would like to do it for a second time. Their the only one's to do this back in 2006. They also won the post season tournament that year defeating Holy Cross and had a big Ncaa win against Arkansas.

"How important is home court getting the crowd in here? Getting the Sojka going? And making this place loud? Home court is really important and we have the best fans in the Patriot League. It's great to have them here. We love playing in front of our home fans. We think it's a huge advantage and we're going to try to make that happen." again said Bryson.

Tip is 7pm on Thursday.
