Carbondale Fire Forces Residents Out

A mother and her two children are out of their home after a fire in Lackawanna County.

Fire hit the home on Spring Street in Carbondale.

The Red Cross reports the flames got started on the porch of the home after 2 a.m. Monday.

Fire officials have not released a cause of the fire.

The Red Cross is helping the family.
