A man making a bank deposit was robbed at gunpoint in Northumberland County, according to police.

Police released surveillance pictures that show the crime around 9 p.m. Tuesday at First National Bank on the corner of Market and Chestnut Streets in Shamokin.

The suspect was wearing a mask and carrying a gun.

Police tell Newswatch 16 the logo on the robber’s sweatshirt is for the Shamokin Indians.

Shamokin police have not said how much was taken in the heist.
