Man Charged with 2011 Stabbing, Robbery

A man from Luzerne County was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder for a stabbing and robbery last year in Columbia County.

Police said in January, 2011 Kim Roquet, 39, of Shickshinny stabbed and robbed a worker at Decker’s Scrap Yard on Canal Street in Berwick.

The worker suffered life-threatening injuries, but has since recovered.

He was ble to identify a photograph of Roquet as the man who attacked him.

Roquet is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and robbery.
