Babysitter Faces Sex Charges

Police in Williamsport have charged Kathleen Harella, 29, of Williamsport with sexually assaulting two boys last year.

Harrella said the accusations are false.

A 15-year-old boy told investigators he was asleep on Harella’s bed at her home in Williamsport when he woke up to her molesting him in January. That is according to court papers that go on to say a 13-year-old boy told police a similar thing happened when he fell asleep on the couch at Harella’s home in the Summer of 2011 while she was babysitting him.

Both boys told police Harella told them she was doing it only because she cared.

Harella is locked up in Lycoming County on $50,000 bail.
