Robbery Suspect Blames Drugs for Crime

A woman accused of robbing a convenience store over the weekend blamed her drug habit for her actions.

Valeria Weston, 27, of McAdoo is accused of robbing Joe’s Choice Convenient Mart on Route 93 in Sugarloaf.

When police went to her home Monday they found a sweatshirt that matched the description of the one worn by the robber.

Police said Weston admitted she robbed the store and said he did it because of her drug habit.
