A man from Luzerne County will spend time behind bars for tainting food using his own bodily fluids.
Joseph Bartorillo of Larksville was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Scranton to two years in federal prison. He is also required to pay $3,600 in restitution.
Bartorillo was formerly employed at Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany. That’s where, authorities said, he injected containers of yogurt with his own bodily fluids several times over the course of a year.
He also faces charges in Wyoming County.
