Woman Charged with Vandalizing Baby Jesus

Police in Northampton County charged a woman with vandalizing a baby Jesus that was part of nativity scene.

The incident happened in Bangor last month.

Police said Elizabeth Bossert, 18, of Bangor drew horns and fangs, among other things, on the statue of the baby Jesus.

Officers said Bossert then hung the statue from a tree outside Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Bossert is charged with vandalism and criminal mischief.
