In a unanimous vote, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commissioner Tuesday approved a land swap deal with a developer in Lycoming County.

Developer Bobby Maguire asked the fish and boat commission to grant him a right of way so he could build several homes on land he owns near Rose Valley Lake. In exchange, Maguire would pay the state $15,000 and give up an acre of land.

The deal now goes before the state House, Senate and Governor Tom Corbett for approval.
