Man Ordered to Trial for Deadly Shooting

A man accused of shooting this girlfriend to death last month has been ordered to stand trial for the crime.

Wilkes-Barre police said Stan Davis Junior shot and killed Carlotta Springer Howard,37, at their home on Sterling Avenue.

Howard’s 18-year-old son witnessed the killing and testified in court Thursday, saying Davis and Howard were arguing when the shooting happened.

No trial date has been set.
