Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Ethics Violation

A Williamsport police officer pleaded guilty Wednesday morning to an ethics code violation.

Officer Dustin Kreitz was supposed to go to trial Wednesday.

He will now have to pay $350 after his guilty plea.

Kreitz and Officer Thomas Ungard Junior, are accused of abusing their power in order to profit from items confiscated.

Ungard was sentenced to 18 months probation last year. He is appealing.

Kreitz pleaded no contest last February.
