Flags at state office buildings are flying at half staff Monday in remembrance of Penn State football coach Joe Paterno who lost his battle with lung cancer over the weekend.

Funeral arrangements and a possible university memorial service for Paterno are expected later today.

The long-time head football coach died Sunday.

Monday morning Governor Tom Corbett ordered all flags in the capitol complex and at commonwealth facilities across the state fly at half staff to honor Paterno.

The former Penn State football coach had been involved with Penn State on and off the field for more than 60 years.
