Vehicle Break-ins Reported in Kingston

Police in Kingston are warning people to keep valuables hidden in their cars after a rash of break-ins overnight.

Police said close to 10 vehicles were targeted. Some had the windows smashed, others were unlocked.

Newswatch 16 found one vehicle with the window taped with plastic on James Street. Cars were also hit on Reynolds and Gates streets.

Kingston police are asking anyone who sees anything suspicious to call 911.
