Police in Lackawanna County arrested a man Monday who they said threatened and robbed a woman.
John Winsock, 50, walked up to a parked car on Birney Avenue in Moosic just before 6 p.m. Monday and demanded money from the driver, according to police. Officers said when the woman refused, Winsock reached his hand into his pocket and told the victim to give him her wallet or he would shoot her.
Police said the victim gave up her cash and Winsock fled.
Winsock was picked up a short time later at the Moosic Motor Inn. He is currently locked up in Lackawanna County.
