Man Faces Rape Charge

A man from Luzerne County was arrested Monday, accused of raping a girl in her Wilkes-Barre home.

Jermain Crosby, 29, of Plains Township is charged with rape and statutory sexual assault. Police said he is dating the victim’s cousin.

Investigators said the rape allegedly happened about 2 a.m. Monday, and Crosby was later arrested at a convenience store in Wilkes-Barre.

Crosby is being held at the Luzerne County jail on $75,000 bail.
