Crash Closes Route 49

A multi-vehicle crash shut down a section of Route 49 Friday morning in Tioga County.

It happened near the Dollar General Store east of Elkland.

Traffic was detoured onto Barney Hill Road and East Main Street. Topics Dollar General Corporation Details of the crash were not available.

PennDOT said the road reopened to traffic about 1 p.m.
